WESTWOOD VOWERY AND ESTATE WEDDING

An All-White Westwood Vowery and Estate Wedding

An All-White Westwood Vowery and Estate Wedding

Sydney and Tommy’s Westwood Vowery and Estate wedding was all about abundance, texture, and a beautifully simple palette. White hydrangeas and roses filled the ceremony aisle, while black, white, and gold details carried the look into the reception. With no greenery in the floral design, every arrangement felt soft, full, and sculptural.

Working alongside Kaitlin Carriger of It’s KEE Events, we created florals that brought their vision together from the walk down the aisle to dinner at the head table. The result was timeless and grand, with thoughtful choices that made the flowers work throughout the celebration.

All-White Wedding Flowers at Westwood Vowery and Estate

An all-white palette can feel surprisingly dimensional when you pay attention to shape and texture. For Sydney and Tommy, we paired the cloud-like fullness of white hydrangeas with the more defined petals of white roses. Together, they gave the arrangements volume and softness without introducing another color.

Leaving out greenery was an intentional part of the design. It kept the focus on the flowers themselves and created a clean, uninterrupted look. Against the black, white, and gold accents throughout the décor, the white blooms felt especially striking.

This is one of the things we love about custom wedding floral design: even a single-color palette leaves so much room to make a celebration feel personal. The flower varieties, proportions, and placement all shape the finished look.

A Ceremony Aisle Filled with White Hydrangeas and Roses

The ceremony aisle was one of the biggest floral moments of Sydney and Tommy’s day. Multiple urn arrangements filled the aisle with abundant white flowers, creating a sense of fullness that carried through the ceremony design.

Repeating the same flowers and palette gave the arrangements a cohesive rhythm. Each piece contributed to the larger picture, making the aisle feel like one complete design.

For couples drawn to this look, we recommend deciding early where you want flowers to make the biggest impression. A generous ceremony design can establish the feeling of the whole wedding, especially when you have a plan to enjoy those arrangements again at the reception.

A Fully Draped Westwood Ballroom

For the reception, ACE Party Rental draped the entire Westwood ballroom. The fabric brought softness to the room and complemented the rounded shapes of the hydrangeas and roses.

The monochromatic flowers were part of a larger design story, with black, white, and gold accents adding definition throughout the décor. Kaitlin’s selections for signage, linens, and flatware helped connect those details. We adore working with her, and her eye for style made this collaboration especially fun.

The draping and flowers worked so well together because both added texture while keeping the palette restrained. The room felt abundant without needing more color.

Repurposing Ceremony Flowers at the Head Table

One of our recommendations was to give the ceremony aisle flowers a second purpose along the head table. After making an impression during the ceremony, those arrangements became part of the reception design.

This helped Sydney and Tommy stay within their floral budget while carrying the same lush look into another part of the celebration. Rather than treating the ceremony and reception as two separate floral plans, we considered how the designs could work together from the beginning.

Repurposing is something we discuss during planning, since arrangement size, placement, timing, and the team needed to move everything all matter. When those details align, it can be a lovely way to get more enjoyment from the flowers you’re most excited about.
