Hotel Carmichael Wedding: A Whimsical All-White Celebration in Carmel, Indiana
Designing wedding florals is always a joy, and this Hotel Carmichael wedding with Jenna and Conner was no exception. While we worked primarily through their planner, we still felt Jenna's trust in every detail, a gift that made the process smooth and inspiring. This spring wedding blended timeless design with soft, whimsical touches, brought to life by seasonal blooms and the elegant charm of this downtown Carmel venue.
Hotel Carmichael: A Favorite Venue for Many Reasons
Hotel Carmichael is a boutique hotel tucked into the heart of Carmel, Indiana. It's known for its luxurious feel and beautiful location next to the Palladium, a stunning concert hall that adds a unique backdrop to outdoor ceremonies. One of the perks of this venue is how easy it is for couples to host everything in one place: the ceremony, reception, and even the rehearsal dinner. It made for a relaxed experience for Jenna and Conner and their guests.
The staff at Hotel Carmichael is wonderful. They go above and beyond to make sure everything flows smoothly for both couples and vendors, which always sets the tone for a seamless day.
Timeless Florals with a Whimsical Twist
Jenna had a vision for an all-white wedding, and we brought that to life by layering in lots of seasonal texture. Spirea was in bloom, and its delicate, airy branches added softness and movement to each arrangement. It was also peony season, which was perfect timing for Jenna's bridal bouquet, which featured fluffy white peonies for a classic yet full and romantic look.
We leaned into viney foliage to bring a bit of whimsy and dimension to the design. Whether on the ceremony structure or throughout the ballroom, the greenery gave the floral elements a sense of flow and ease.
From Garden Ceremony to Elegant Ballroom
The ceremony took place just outside, beside the Palladium. It's a lovely setting with clean architectural lines and a natural backdrop. We kept the ceremony florals soft and understated, enhancing the space without overpowering it.
Afterward, guests moved into the ballroom for the reception. The space is refined and high-end, with beautiful finishes that don’t require a lot to make a big impact. We used a mix of centerpieces to create interest while keeping everything cohesive in the all-white palette.
Trust and Teamwork
Jenna and Conner were a joy to design for. Even though we didn’t have much direct contact, Jenna’s trust made our job easy. She let us run with floral decisions, and we appreciated her openness. The planner and the venue team were both fantastic partners - responsive, collaborative, and thoughtful.

From the Bride
Jenna left us a kind review after the wedding, sharing how much she appreciated the floral design and how easy the process felt. Her words were a meaningful reminder of why we love what we do.
"Katherine was an absolute dream to work with! From the very beginning, I never once worried about how the flowers would turn out—I knew they were in the best hands. She brought our floral vision to life so beautifully, and seeing everything come together on the big day truly took my breath away! Not only is she incredibly talented, but she was also so kind, flexible, and accommodating—especially through last minute timeline changes! Her calm and thoughtful presence made such a difference. I’m so grateful she was part of our day! She’s the best of the best!!"
